Short answer
ATMs for events with delivery and set-up — the short answer
Delivery and set-up are part of the hire, not an extra line. Our crew tows the trailer or carries the portable unit in during your bump-in window, levels and powers it, brings up an independent connection, tests a live transaction, and loads the machine before the first patron arrives. Through the event the machines are monitored and topped up. At pack-down we remove them inside the agreed bump-out window. Your staff never open a machine.

Bump-in
What happens before the gates open
Set-up starts with the site plan, not the truck. We read the plan, agree the position — visible, out of the walking line, and reachable by a tow vehicle — and confirm the bump-in slot in writing. On a tight site like a CBD street closure or a school ground, the position and the route are worked out days ahead, because there is no room to improvise once marquees are up.
On the day the crew levels the unit, connects power from a 240V supply or a generator, brings up the connection we control, and runs a live test transaction. Testing while there is still time to reposition is the whole point: a machine that fails its first real withdrawal in front of a queue is a much bigger problem than one moved ten metres at 7am.
- Position agreed from your site plan before the date
- Bump-in and bump-out windows confirmed in writing
- Levelling, power and independent connectivity handled by our crew
- Live test transaction run before patrons arrive
- Machine loaded and ready at gates-open, not after

During
Monitoring, top-ups and fault response
Through the event the machines are monitored and the float topped up against actual demand rather than a guess made a week earlier. If something faults, it is our crew responding, not your volunteers reading a manual at a gate.
Support staff attend where the size, layout or hours warrant it — multi-day shows, night markets with a late pack-down, high-density festivals. On a single-trailer weekend market that is usually unnecessary, and we tell you so instead of adding it to the quote.
Bump-out
Removal inside the agreed window
Pack-down is scheduled the same way as bump-in: a confirmed window, agreed in writing, worked around your traffic management plan and the site's access rules. Night markets are the common trap here, because a late finish means a removal window that has to be written down rather than assumed.
Because all of this is crew-and-schedule work, availability is date-driven and bookings close 10 days out — earlier for shows, ticketed festivals and long weekends.
What to know before you hire
Power, space, cash handling and surcharges
The three things organisers ask about most, answered before you commit to a date.
Power and space requirements
Most mobile trailers and standalone units need a standard 240V power supply, or a dedicated generator where mains power is not available, and a flat, level area of roughly 4.5m x 3m with wireless network coverage. Where a site's Wi-Fi or mobile coverage is weak we bring our own connectivity equipment instead — we do not accept dropouts during transactions, so the connection is set up independently and tested before patrons arrive.
Cash loading and security
This is a full-service hire. We manage cash-in-transit, loading and monitoring, so your event staff and volunteers never open a machine or touch internal components. Positioning is agreed against your site plan, and delivery and pack-down windows are confirmed in writing rather than assumed.
Surcharges and earnings
Event hire is priced as an equipment hire fee plus a standard transaction surcharge paid by the person withdrawing — typically between $2.50 and $6.00 depending on the setup. Some high-traffic events qualify for a share of the surcharge revenue or a commission instead of, or alongside, a lower hire fee. Which model suits your event depends on expected withdrawal volume, and we say so plainly before you book.

ATMs for events with delivery and set-up questions
Yes. Delivery, levelling, power, connectivity, testing, cash loading, monitoring and removal are all part of the hire. Your staff never open a machine.
Inside the bump-in window agreed in writing, with enough margin to level, connect, test a live transaction and load the machine before gates open.
That is exactly why we test early. There is normally still time to reposition, and the position itself is agreed from your site plan beforehand to make that rare.
Yes, where the event requires it. Late pack-down windows for night and twilight markets are confirmed in writing rather than assumed.
