Short answer

Sydney ATM trailer hire in one paragraph

Each ATMcash trailer carries two ATMs, and a high-density Sydney event can run two trailers for four machines. Every unit is configured to run on its own connection, tested during setup. We manage cash-in-transit, loading, monitoring and support for the whole event, so your staff never open a machine. You choose surcharge revenue share or flat daily/weekend hire. Bookings are confirmed in writing at least 10 days ahead, and two to six weeks is the realistic window through festival season.

Sydney ATM trailer hire — frequently asked questions

Tap a question to open the answer. Each one stands alone, so it can be quoted directly.

Each custom trailer carries two machines. A standard deployment is one trailer, so two machines side by side; a high-density deployment is two trailers, giving four fully operational ATMs so peak entry and food-precinct queues clear at the same time. We recommend the number of machines against your expected attendance and trading hours rather than selling you the biggest option.

Choosing a model

Revenue share or flat-rate hire

Same trailers, same support — the difference is who carries the risk on transaction volume.

Surcharge revenue shareFlat-rate hire
What you payLower or no fixed hire component, agreed in writingA fixed daily or weekend fee
What you earnAn agreed share of the transaction surchargeNothing from withdrawals — the cost is simply known
SuitsEstablished high-traffic markets, festivals and showsFirst-year events, smaller fairs and fixed-budget committees
Risk on quiet weatherShared — a slow day earns lessOurs — your cost does not move

Both models include delivery, positioning, power arrangements, connectivity, cash loading, monitoring and removal. Which one is better for you depends on attendance and trading hours, so send the date and expected numbers and we will say plainly which we would recommend.

What to know before you hire

Power, space, cash handling and surcharges

The three things organisers ask about most, answered before you commit to a date.

Power and space requirements

Most mobile trailers and standalone units need a standard 240V power supply, or a dedicated generator where mains power is not available, and a flat, level area of roughly 4.5m x 3m with wireless network coverage. Where a site's Wi-Fi or mobile coverage is weak we bring our own connectivity equipment instead — we do not accept dropouts during transactions, so the connection is set up independently and tested before patrons arrive.

Cash loading and security

This is a full-service hire. We manage cash-in-transit, loading and monitoring, so your event staff and volunteers never open a machine or touch internal components. Positioning is agreed against your site plan, and delivery and pack-down windows are confirmed in writing rather than assumed.

Surcharges and earnings

Event hire is priced as an equipment hire fee plus a standard transaction surcharge paid by the person withdrawing — typically between $2.50 and $6.00 depending on the setup. Some high-traffic events qualify for a share of the surcharge revenue or a commission instead of, or alongside, a lower hire fee. Which model suits your event depends on expected withdrawal volume, and we say so plainly before you book.
