Short answer
Sydney ATM trailer hire in one paragraph
Each ATMcash trailer carries two ATMs, and a high-density Sydney event can run two trailers for four machines. Every unit is configured to run on its own connection, tested during setup. We manage cash-in-transit, loading, monitoring and support for the whole event, so your staff never open a machine. You choose surcharge revenue share or flat daily/weekend hire. Bookings are confirmed in writing at least 10 days ahead, and two to six weeks is the realistic window through festival season.

Sydney ATM trailer hire — frequently asked questions

Each custom trailer carries two machines. A standard deployment is one trailer, so two machines side by side; a high-density deployment is two trailers, giving four fully operational ATMs so peak entry and food-precinct queues clear at the same time. We recommend the number of machines against your expected attendance and trading hours rather than selling you the biggest option.
No — each unit is configured to run on its own connection, and that connection is tested during setup before patrons arrive. Crowded event sites often congest badly, so we do not plan around venue wifi. If the site has poor coverage we bring our own equipment, because dropouts mid-transaction are not acceptable.
High-traffic events where vendors take cash: weekend markets and swap meets, council street fairs and multicultural festivals, music festivals and outdoor concerts, agricultural shows and carnivals, plus seasonal pop-ups, school fairs and charity days. If your event has vendors, crowds and patchy network coverage, a trailer is the right shape of solution.
A safe, level placement area roughly the footprint of a small box trailer — plan on about 4.5m x 3m per trailer, plus clear standing room in front for a short queue. We work with your event team on the exact position so the machines are visible, reachable and out of the main crowd flow.
Either works. A standard 240V supply at the placement point is the simplest option; where there is no power run to that spot we operate on a self-contained option instead. Requirements are confirmed in writing during booking so nothing is discovered on bump-in morning.
We do. Our Sydney operations team manages cash-in-transit, replenishment, monitoring and technical support for the whole event. Your staff and volunteers never open a machine or touch internal components — that stays with us for security and compliance reasons.
It can. Many organisers choose the revenue-share model, where an agreed share of the transaction surcharge comes back to the council, committee or event operator. The share depends on expected transaction volume and the deployment size, and it is set out in your written booking confirmation before the event.
Yes. Flat daily or weekend hire packages give you guaranteed trailer placement and full operational support for a fixed, known cost. Smaller or first-year events usually prefer flat hire; established high-traffic events usually earn more from revenue share.
Bookings are confirmed in writing at least 10 days before the event, and that is a minimum, not a target. Sydney weekends fill quickly through festival season, so two to six weeks ahead is the realistic window, and three to four weeks or more for ticketed festivals, shows and long weekends. Urgent requests are sometimes possible depending on trailer availability — ask rather than assume.
Greater Sydney — the CBD, Inner West, Western Sydney (Parramatta, Penrith, Blacktown), South-West Sydney, the Northern Beaches, Eastern Suburbs, Sutherland Shire, the Hills District and Hawkesbury — plus Newcastle and the Hunter, Wollongong and the Illawarra, the Central Coast and the regional NSW corridors. Event trailer hire is offered in Sydney and New South Wales at this stage; permanent free ATM placement is available Australia-wide.
Yes. Multi-day events get continuous monitoring, scheduled cash loading between trading days and support across the whole run, with overnight security arrangements agreed with your event and venue plan before bump-in.
Send your event date, location, estimated attendance and trading hours through the enquiry form on this page, or call 0412 025 552 during Mon–Fri 8:30am – 7:30pm AEST. We check the date against scheduled runs and come back with availability and pricing — nothing is held until you have written confirmation.
Choosing a model
Revenue share or flat-rate hire
Same trailers, same support — the difference is who carries the risk on transaction volume.
| Surcharge revenue share | Flat-rate hire | |
|---|---|---|
| What you pay | Lower or no fixed hire component, agreed in writing | A fixed daily or weekend fee |
| What you earn | An agreed share of the transaction surcharge | Nothing from withdrawals — the cost is simply known |
| Suits | Established high-traffic markets, festivals and shows | First-year events, smaller fairs and fixed-budget committees |
| Risk on quiet weather | Shared — a slow day earns less | Ours — your cost does not move |
Both models include delivery, positioning, power arrangements, connectivity, cash loading, monitoring and removal. Which one is better for you depends on attendance and trading hours, so send the date and expected numbers and we will say plainly which we would recommend.
What to know before you hire
Power, space, cash handling and surcharges
The three things organisers ask about most, answered before you commit to a date.
Power and space requirements
Most mobile trailers and standalone units need a standard 240V power supply, or a dedicated generator where mains power is not available, and a flat, level area of roughly 4.5m x 3m with wireless network coverage. Where a site's Wi-Fi or mobile coverage is weak we bring our own connectivity equipment instead — we do not accept dropouts during transactions, so the connection is set up independently and tested before patrons arrive.
Cash loading and security
This is a full-service hire. We manage cash-in-transit, loading and monitoring, so your event staff and volunteers never open a machine or touch internal components. Positioning is agreed against your site plan, and delivery and pack-down windows are confirmed in writing rather than assumed.
Surcharges and earnings
Event hire is priced as an equipment hire fee plus a standard transaction surcharge paid by the person withdrawing — typically between $2.50 and $6.00 depending on the setup. Some high-traffic events qualify for a share of the surcharge revenue or a commission instead of, or alongside, a lower hire fee. Which model suits your event depends on expected withdrawal volume, and we say so plainly before you book.
