Mobile ATM
Mobile ATM hire — a cash machine that comes to the site
A mobile ATM is a machine that travels: mounted in a towable trailer or supplied as a portable standalone unit, delivered to your ground, connected, loaded and taken away again.
Most enquiries receive a response within 3 hours during business hours.
Short answer
mobile ATM and mobile ATM hire — the short answer
A mobile ATM is a cash machine designed to be transported to a site rather than installed permanently in a wall or a floor. Ours come two ways: trailer-mounted, with two ATMs in one weatherproof towable body, and portable standalone units that plug into a normal 240V outlet indoors. Both are hired with the logistics attached — delivery, positioning, independent connectivity, cash loading, monitoring, support staff where warranted, and removal at pack-down.

Definition
What makes an ATM mobile
Three things separate a mobile ATM from a fixed one. It is transportable, so it arrives and leaves on a schedule rather than being installed. It is self-sufficient on services, running from a 240V supply or generator with connectivity we provide rather than a fixed data line. And it is managed as a deployment rather than an asset: somebody delivers it, loads it, watches it and collects it.
That last point is the one that gets underestimated. The hardware is the easy part of a mobile ATM. What makes it work on a windy showground at 7am is the crew, the cash schedule, the tested connection and the agreed pack-down window.
- Trailer-mounted mobile ATM — two machines, weatherproof, lit, towable onto grass
- Portable mobile ATM — indoor use, standard 240V outlet, small footprint
- Independent connectivity, tested during set-up, not reliant on venue Wi-Fi
- Managed cash-in-transit, loading and monitoring for the duration

Where they go
Events, markets, functions and temporary sites
Markets and events are the bulk of it: weekend market grounds, agricultural shows, music and food festivals, council street closures, school fairs and twilight markets. All of them share the same shape — a crowd arriving in a window, independent vendors, and no bank branch inside the gate.
Beyond events, mobile ATMs cover temporary and seasonal needs: functions and conferences, expo floors, holiday trading periods, work camps and any venue whose permanent machine is temporarily out of service. If the need has an end date, a mobile unit is the right shape. If it does not, permanent free placement is cheaper for the venue and we will say so.
Practicalities
What the site needs to provide
For a trailer: a flat, level area of roughly 4.5m x 3m, a towing route to reach it, and either a standard 240V supply or the go-ahead for a dedicated generator. For a portable unit: a normal power outlet and a position inside the room that is visible without blocking a walkway.
Everything else is ours. We agree the position against your site plan, confirm the bump-in and pack-down windows in writing, and have the machine live and tested before patrons arrive. Bookings close 10 days out, earlier through show season and December.
What to know before you hire
Power, space, cash handling and surcharges
The three things organisers ask about most, answered before you commit to a date.
Power and space requirements
Most mobile trailers and standalone units need a standard 240V power supply, or a dedicated generator where mains power is not available, and a flat, level area of roughly 4.5m x 3m with wireless network coverage. Where a site's Wi-Fi or mobile coverage is weak we bring our own connectivity equipment instead — we do not accept dropouts during transactions, so the connection is set up independently and tested before patrons arrive.
Cash loading and security
This is a full-service hire. We manage cash-in-transit, loading and monitoring, so your event staff and volunteers never open a machine or touch internal components. Positioning is agreed against your site plan, and delivery and pack-down windows are confirmed in writing rather than assumed.
Surcharges and earnings
Event hire is priced as an equipment hire fee plus a standard transaction surcharge paid by the person withdrawing — typically between $2.50 and $6.00 depending on the setup. Some high-traffic events qualify for a share of the surcharge revenue or a commission instead of, or alongside, a lower hire fee. Which model suits your event depends on expected withdrawal volume, and we say so plainly before you book.
